circle4us Privacy Policy

Welcome to circle4us. This Privacy Policy explains how circle4us ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the circle4us mobile application (the "App") on iOS. The App is a creative drawing game that lets users draw shapes, receive real-time feedback, and view local rankings and heatmaps. This Policy describes what information we collect (if any), how it is used, shared, and protected, and the rights you have regarding your information.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by the circle4us App on iOS. It does not apply to any data collected by Apple, other apps on your device, or third-party services not integrated into the App.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information or usage data through the App. Specifically:

• We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details.
  • Account identifiers or user IDs.
  • Location data (precise or approximate).
  • Payment or billing information.
  • Photos, audio recordings, or videos uploaded from your device.
  • Analytics or behavioral tracking data.
  • Advertising identifiers, cookies, or device fingerprints.

• Local-only data:

  • Drawings, scores, heatmap data, and local rankings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or to any third party by the App.
  • Any settings or preferences you set in the App are saved only on your device.

If you provide information to us by email (for example, to report an issue or ask a question), that information is processed only to respond to your inquiry. See "Contact Us" for the email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because the App is designed to operate without collecting data, we do not use personal information for analytics, advertising, personalization, or profiling. Uses of information are limited to:

• Local device functionality:
  • Displaying the drawing canvas, tracking in-app scores and heatmaps, and generating local rankings and feedback.
• Responding to user inquiries:
  • If you email us, we may use the information you provide to respond to your message and to troubleshoot or improve the App.
• Legal compliance:
  • To comply with applicable law if we are required to do so.

We do not use any personal data for marketing, targeted advertising, or sale.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

• We do not share personal information with third parties because the App does not collect personal information.
• The App does not integrate third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or social media APIs.
• If you choose to email us, your message will be processed by our staff and stored with standard email handling systems; we will not share those messages with unrelated third parties except as required by law.

Note on platform/backup services:

• Data stored locally on your device (including drawings) may be included in device backups you control (for example, iCloud backups). Such backups are governed by your agreement with Apple and are not collected by us.

4. Data Retention

• Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, we do not retain personal data on our servers.
• Local data (drawings, scores, heatmaps) remains on your device until you delete the App or the App data, or until you remove such data via iOS device settings or backups.
• If you email us, we may retain the contents of that correspondence only as long as necessary to respond and for record-keeping to the extent permitted by law.

5. Security Measures

We take reasonable steps to protect information related to the App:

• The App is designed to operate without transmitting or storing personal data on our servers.
• Local data is stored in your device’s storage and benefits from the security mechanisms of iOS (device encryption, passcode protections, etc.) that you control.
• Communications you initiate by email are protected using standard email security measures; however, email is not encrypted end-to-end by default. Do not include sensitive personal information in emails.
• While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

circle4us is designed to be child-friendly. We recognize the importance of protecting children's privacy.

• Our Policy:
  • The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law (e.g., under 13 in the United States).
  • Because we do not collect personal data, we do not require parental consent for the App’s basic functionality.
• Parental Controls and Guidance:
  • Parents or guardians can manage their child’s device settings and backups via iOS parental controls.
  • If a parent believes we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us at circle4us@forvibe.app so we can promptly delete any such information.

7. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA Compliant)

Although we do not collect personal data through the App, we describe below rights available under data protection laws in the event we process personal information (for example, if you contact us by email and provide personal data).

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.

  • Withdrawal of consent: To the extent processing is based on consent, withdraw consent (this will not affect processing already lawfully undertaken).

  • We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days where required by law. If we need more time, we will inform you.
  • Because the App collects no personal information by design, many requests will be recognized as not applicable. If you have contacted us and provided personal data (for example, via email), we will process such requests in accordance with applicable law.

• Verification:

  • To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request to access, correct, or delete personal information. For minimal inquiries (or when no personal data is held), we will provide guidance or explanation.

8. AI/Automated Processing Disclosure

• The App does not perform automated profiling or make decisions using AI/automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.
• Any in-App real-time feedback (shape accuracy scoring, local ranking computation, heatmap visualization) is computed locally on your device and does not involve automated decision-making that impacts users beyond the normal game experience.

9. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

• Current status:
  • circle4us is provided free to download and use. At the time of this Policy, there are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features.
• If we add in-app purchases or subscriptions in the future:
  • Payments would be processed by Apple (via the App Store). We do not receive your payment or billing details from Apple.
  • Any purchase-related communications or receipts are handled by Apple; we will not receive your full payment information.
  • We will update this Privacy Policy to describe those features and any related data processing.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. If we make material changes, we will:

• Post the revised Policy in the App and on our website at https://circle4us.forvibe.app.
• Update the "Last Updated" and "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy.
• Where required by law, we will provide additional notice (for example, in-app notification or email) prior to material changes taking effect.

Your continued use of the App after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
